PREVENTING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN PROGRAM

The Preventing Violence Against Women Program is an initiative of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. The intention of the visual identity is, firstly, to engage the diverse audience that exists within the Diocese and, secondly, to help communicate to external stakeholders the Program’s high quality, professionalism and leadership.

The client was after a visual identity which would convey the dynamic, bold, visionary and hopeful nature of the initiative. The design draws on elements of the Diocese logo (the crest), thus providing a strong link between the two. The white upside down “V”and dark blue shapes form a roofline and are indicative of a home or a church. The “mosaic” of shapes and colours reflect the diversity within the Diocese.
